Maybe Grandma and Grandpa live far away, or their friends are away on holiday. Use WhatsApp, Skype or Facetime to stay in touch with one another. Communicating clearly with one another by text messages when you can't see each other can be hard. Check in with your child regularly at the start, and give them tips.
